The Sugar Loaves is 500 years old and is situated on the main road through the village. Food is served in the popular, original beamed, Restuarant & in the Bar, all of which is home cooked. The kitchen only uses the freshest of produce sourced mainly from local suppliers. The Deserts are always homemade from produce sourced locally, try the Apple Pie, it's delicious!

Outside is a large garden where all the family can sit & relax on a nice sunny day.

The White Lion is a classic old fashioned English Public House which is over 500 years old. It is a Pub with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and enclosed family garden. For sports fans it has a Pool table (FREE on Mondays) and shows most major football events. There is regular live music events as well as less formal jam nights (on a Wednesday) when regulars pick up and play some of the guitars dotted around the place. It also has a large function hall with a separate bar for larger music events and private functions, such as parties or activities.
